NO IDEA where it came from but only 62 this morning! 🤣. That was at 6 am. Gone now, up 10 points in an hr ... But fleetingly crisp and enjoyable. Made chores pleasant.

Working again today. Need to stop at feed store too. Plenty of pasture but, those being milked get fed then. ☺️ Plus a couple with young kids nursing. Will finish up inside and get ready to go move every bottle of aspirin in yet another store....😁😵‍💫

The following is what's on the menu SO FAR; RIBS, SMOKED Meat Loaf, Smoked Chicken, SMOKED Bacon Wrapped Boston Butt Bites, SMOKED Bacon Wrapped Chicken Breast Bites, Boston Butt, Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, Smokes Sausage, HOMEMADE Mac & Cheese, SMOKED "Apple Pie" Baked Beans, Pasta Salad, Green Bean casserole, Mac Salad. A couple of the dishes is what ppl are bringing but will probably end up with more stuff too. That's for next Saturday August 19.
Going to be actually setting the "cook station" up this weekend, will take pics of before, during and after then way after once it dries and stuff is put in place. Also going to be getting the base and umbrella for the table this weekend so can't wait to take pics of it during the day and at night also. Then during the week the HUGE (10x30) party tent will be here and FH says that is going to be easy set up and just us 2 will be able to do it.

@peteyfoozer you can use a piece of 1/2”x 1/2” hardware cloth, drag the elderberries across it and it picks them off the stem.

Coffee is ready. I think I’ll get outside this morning and finish getting the fence posts off the flatbed trailer.
Cool! I used a fork yesterday but will remember this for next time!

Welp, I didn’t break anything but I feel like someone kicked the snot out of me from my fall yesterday. This old body just doesn’t bounce well anymore!
Rabids, chix and garden are getting the bare minimum of care today. Hope this passes quickly. I have a date with Mister and was hoping to cut Wimpy out of the cavvy and start riding him soon. I worry about regressing over the winter and want to take advantage of every opportunity because I never know when it will be my last.

If only I could find the shut off on my internal clock!
I'm with you on that one. I was up at 2:15 but laid on the couch with Savage around 3:45 and got up about an hour ago. Waiting on FH to wake up so he can get motivated (takes him 2-3 hours even with coffee) so we can get this weekends outside projects going (adding a floor to the wooden structure and getting pool set up)
