67 going to 81. Hilary on her way. A blowhard of of course. 😉
Coffee downed, breakfast done, heading out to get the barn battened down. Tarping the west side, and small trenching the east. All that and DH invited folks over at 3. Not for helping - for socializing. 🤦‍♀️ and food.

Plenty of cold water for me and Hubbs this morning. He mowed the goatweed in the top pasture while I fretted about sparks and grass fires and potential jeopardy to the new mower. Our upper pasture is sand with rocky outcroppings. A good place for weeds and mower busting boulderettes. All went fine. Jury duty was cancelled. I’m ashamed of myself for complaining about it. I seem to be less accommodating these days. :\

@peteyfoozer for food poisoning mix apple cider vinegar and honey half and half. Keep in refrigerator. Put a shot glass in a glass of cold water, sip until gone. Even if puked back( sip, don’t chug) enough will get in the body to help. In 30-45 minutes puking and diarrhea are usually stopped, and can go sleep it off.

Thanks Baymule! I will keep some of that on hand for when I’m unable to cook as he is determined to kill us by never putting leftovers away 😳

Amber alert went off at 2-something this morning. As I was drifting off to sleep again, dogs went barking crazy. I gave up, got up at 4. Sucks. Sat out on porch drinking coffee, looking at the stars. Owl hooted, coyotes howled, Sheba barked and coyotes shut up. With this drought and awful heat, there are no mosquitoes, which normally would carry me away. Nice outside. I’ll get a nap this afternoon, after church. LOL

I'm having my morning brew -- checked weather station, not good. Only 63 now but heading to 90, no breeze, 93 humidity. 😯 wouldn't that be rain if there were clouds?? I don't know but, sounds sweaty! Hoping a dry front will come along.

Well that weather makes me rethink my plans for today.🤣

Morning all! I don't know what I'm doing up seeing how I'm still exhausted from yesterday but I'm up! Was actually up at 3:45 took Savage potty, came in fixed cup of coffee decided I needed to lay back down woke back up at 8:30 took Savage potty brought him in then put 2 more out in the pen reheated 1st cup of coffee got laundry started sat and relaxed for a little bit then started getting things in a somewhat order and other small minor things together. I'm actually working on my 2nd cup of Joe and still want to go to sleep. I'm attaching pics of set up and doing the BBQ. I do have to apologize for not having food pics as we was trying to get the food placed guests was lining up to fill plates but we had at least 3 LONG tables full of food. Everyone enjoyed and had a blast.

We're in a hurricane, oh no, run for your lives, grab all you can at the stores, it's a hurricane. PUBLIC SAFTEY ALERT screams over every cell phone, Hilary is going to wipe us out..................................................
True story now - it's gonna rain off and on for two days. Average per hour --- less than 1/4 inch, the wind is gonna blow average 8mph with a few gusts in the 25mph range (far less than the average normal Santa Anas ~35-50mph).
So -- it's gonna rain, it's gonna be windy, with the exception of it being August - that's normal. San Diego will not fall off into the ocean, will not blow over to Arizona or Hawaii.
Will there be places where it's worse - of course, but certainly not enough to warrant the baring of shelves in Costco, WalMart and similar store.
SIGH ---
Media Induced Hysteria
.
Now back to our normal programming - coffee done, breakfast finished, even grazed the sheep a little bit --- lambs included. On cuppa #two and thinking of getting things in order for baking cookies.
