Good Sunday morning all. @Baymule I like to soak stumps in diesel for a while before burning, or if you change your own oil. Oh I'm not suppose to say that. I properly recycle my oil of course.
Thanks for the tip. It’s a post oak, it died last summer. This wan an enormous tree and so is the stump. Of course the stump is where I want to put a 3 sided shelter for the sheep.

A fresh, hot and ready pot is waiting for early birds to join me in drinking it up. Here in a few minutes I have to get the typical Monday stuff going plus I have to add in carving 2 pumpkins. I waited to carve them seeing how the weather was more summer type then Autumn so I didn't want them to begin to rot before tomorrow.
FH and I hung some more Halloween deco yesterday so here's the pics: 1st pic is of the orange and purple light SPIDER WEB, 2nd pic is the SPIDER on the web, 3rd pic is GHOST windsock we hung under the outdoor light. YES WE ARE ALREADY TALKING ABOUT HOW TRO IMPROVE THE DISPLAY NEXT YEAR. Here in a couple weeks more than likely we are going to start decorating for Christmas (unless we can get help from our friends!) seeing how we have so much.

A nippy 40 right now. Sun peeking out but a persistent north breeze. I downloaded Robokiller for a trial after 72 calls on Friday and 31 on Saturday. There were a few on Sunday too. Hopefully the spamming community will give up and move on. Much like a poster we know. Bless his/her heart.

I finally went outside. I let Cooper and his ladies and the dogs out. Went back out around 1, put up Cooper and girls, let the Ewe Crew out.

Meanwhile Rocky and Little Ringo waffle between standing in the corner, across driveway from all those luscious babes, Baa baaing, or taking shelter in the dog kennel.

Today started out at a glorious 50 degrees, currently 80 ---- humidity 12% - it's a dry heat ;) - it's not that bad.
I don't predict these things because ya' know ...............
The wonderful phone and aps in all their glory have been predicting High Wind Advisories for the last 3 or 4 days -- to start around midnight last night. Such wonderful advance notice for all those firebugs out there. aaaaaannnnnnnnnndddddddddd in the last 2 hours three fires not close to each other (one reported at 12:50, another at 2:36 and one not reported because it's Camp Pendelton).
First one is at 375ac 0 containment 28 engines, 12 handcrews, 8 dozers, 3 air tankers, 2 copters, 4 water tenders (not 100% sure what those are), 1 spotter/lead plane --- this one is big and threatening -- while I can see smoke we are fine distance 38 miles away.
Second is small seems to be holding at 5 acres some freeway lanes closed, some evacuations, 3 strike teams 10 engines, 1 tanker - we are fine 18 miles away.
Third Camp Pendelton - absolutely no info on this one. I can see the smoke. The area is a training grounds for explosives etc. I can never figure out why they don't take time off in bad conditions - such is life. I see smoke and we are fine 28 miles away.
Such is life in So Cal -- always ready and calm but not complacent.
