We should be fine. The small one is out and in mop up stage. The bigger one last report 1200+ ac and 0 containment. Not worried.

I'm sorry for brewing any coffee this AM but finishing up what was left from yesterday and my coffee supply is getting low (trying to make it last until this weekend when I'm going shopping) but Y'all can brew a cup or glass of Iced Coffee. I even have an almost full jar of the fake "instant" stuff if that helps.

I made coffee! I always keep 2 cans in reserve. I’ve run out before and it ain’t purty. Going to be sunny for the next 10 days. 40F now, high of 57.

We've had several dry, sunny, hot days this past week. So I power washed my front porch, top to bottom. Then a coat of paint on all the posts & rails. It's a 40' porch, plus ends, 8' out -- decent sized job.
. Rain today. Fri-Sun I'll get back porch done. Same deal. Woohoo....check off list.

A cool 24 degree start, going to 44. 70's next weekend. A low of 60. Nice looking porch @Mini Horses
I spent all day yesterday working on chainsaws. Went to town (that was the hardest part for me) and got new fuel filters for them all needed or not. I'm tired of pulling on large saws that won't start. The compression on my echo is ridiculous. I pulled and cleaned all the carbs, 3 of them. I got my stihl running and the clutch? is locked up.
I have enough firewood for the year but one of my jobs is running a saw to clean up a bunch of large trees on a ranch and then I can sell what I bring home after leaving the rancher his share. I've stopped early several times because I was tired of yanking on saws. After changing sparkplugs and cleaning air filters Sat, yesterdays work should have got them running. I try not to run ethanol in them but I'd say that is why the carbs were dirty.

On cup one and sourdough toast. I look up and these two are almost nose to nose (took time to get phone out to snap pic missed the shot) but got this …..
I of course gave chase and 3 others came from the area of the dog walk yard on the side of the house. I’m now totally blaming Ree. She’s in season and flagging big time. Last night she escaped her crate and she and the boys bounced on the bed at 2:30am. I don’t think she was out for long but well ya never know - could be Jan pups. Unplanned, but either boy is a good match for her so there’s that.
Fire update 2200 acres now, spreading through canyons. We are fine.

I would set her outside in the crate of course and advertise that smell while I sat on the roof with the 30.-30. or 270. Speaking of yotes I think it's time to reset traps over at the neighbors.
