Afternoon everybody!! FH and I had a great lunch date yesterday at Texas Roadhouse!!!! All it did was rain yesterday and now today the wind is bad I lost count how many times I've had to fix my outdoor Christmas inflatables but hoping the weather will be better tomorrow.

Only auctions are Courtland & Blackstone. That's no price guarantee but, done deal. The breed & condition -- bred, weight, age, sex, etc -- makes a difference in prices and bids. Would be nice if she knows anything about them, even to use something like craigslist. If "his" project, she may or not have been involved 🤔🤷 OR she may be very hands on and involved. I'd be glad to help if she needs input or just someone to look at them and talk to her about what's there. I think it's 1-1.5 hr away, an easy drive.

@canesisters do you know her involvement with the animals? They have a trailer to haul? If she even wants to sell any? I'm sorry for the loss of her husband.
Thanks @Mini Horses! I'll find out some more info.
She did mention that she needed to get a few young males gone fairly quickly. I suggested that she let the Amish market know... they might know of someone who would want them for meat.?

Coffee is ready. It’s 36F, high of 60F. For rest of 10 day forecast lows will be in the 40’s, highs in 60’s. Rain Thursday through Monday, Christmas Day. I think at least one of those days will be an inch of rain. Sheep are still in same spot as last winter, so will be muddy. I’m worried about the little lambs, but I had the foresight to grab a couple bales of pine shavings. Plus this year I left up the tarp I put up in the summer for shade. It’s next to the hay bale and waste hay is about a foot deep. The ewes like it so much that I left it up.
Christmas, New Year’s, then I can get started on barn. I may add it to my fence thread.

Leo O’ Clock at 3:30a. His stomach growled so loudly it woke me up. Then he serenaded me from further down the digestive tract and outside he went warp speed. Occasionally he and Sophie catch gophers then it’s down the hatch. I’m not sure a nap for me is not imminent. Then housecleaning, watch the ewes and hens.
