Afternoon all!! I've been deep cleaning the house seeing how FH will be home ALL next week on vacay and says he's going to do the dinner time cooking to give me a break which means he'll put something in the crock pot and I'll have to do the sides.

Coffee is ready! Still dark outside. Supposed to rain tomorrow through Sunday, maybe Christmas Day.

Balmy 28* out everyone is eating their breakfast. I'm gonna coffee my way to an apptmt, then work a couple stores for some short jobs. Looking like that'll be it until next year . 2 weeks away. The year has flown by, hasn't it?!?!

If he sticks to what he says it will be seeing how I'm still waiting on him to do some in house projects that should have been done long time ago.

CHILLY 20 this morning... but going to go up to the 50's???? Oh well, calves are waiting to be fed so I'm headed out in a few minutes... helps when there is sun up there once it comes over the hill...
Forecast is for sun and seasonal warmer temps through Christmas, then rain for 2-3 days right after Christmas day. We can use the moisture as long as it doesn't come down in buckets at a time...

I’m so much better than yesterday! Made it out to feed. Yesterday I could hardly make it walking as far as bathroom. Fenny brought a stick in to grind up on the carpet. Having first cup of coffee, but falling back asleep

Crazy panic cleaning. Some just... shovel the filth out of the way... and some deep cleaning.

Most of the kids... or... maybe all of them, weil be here tomorrow.

Eldest shows up early Thursday on the ferry.

2nd son, with bride to be, and a 15year old kid of a friend who needs a place.. will be here late Thursday

I am not sure if kid 3 will be here Thursday or Friday.

So... about to be a full house.

As Christmas is drawing closer and closer I am so looking forward to FH opening what few gifts I managed to get him because I know he'll enjoy and get great pleasure plus comfort from them even though every year he says he doesn't need anything and I don' need to get him anything but I still do and he does realize he needs what I get him after all.

@Alaskan you've been missing the "full house" so this will be a merry, Merry Christmas.

Hard to believe but, Monday is Christmas!! Working in these retail stores it's been daily "looking" like the holidays "forever" and you lose a sense of time. Not a fan of that as it dulls you to the celebration of these holidays. Plus, my entire family is adulting (some into their "prime"). DGD will be 22 soon. What comes after prime -- overdone? -- or just "old as dirt"? . Pondering that.

Cold & frosted out this morn -- the perfect "white", considering the alternatives. Having my hot to get motivated for double wrapping myself for chores. Then, off to work. Last day of job work for a couple weeks. Nice! Have a short list of things to get while between stores. And fill gas tank while out. Yeah, then I'll be ready to hermit for a few days.

Get done what you haven't -- stores will be in panic mode over weekend. I don't want to join that, do you?
