It's like when power is out -- fix commercial first, of course, then the line with most numbers affected, the singles last. 🤷 Makes sense. Roads the same way. One of the "unpercs" of the solitary location. When the occasional snow hits here, the farmers often use their own time & equipment to help their neighbors out. 😊

We're having normal temps for today -- 50 ish -- flirting with 30 tonight but, only couple hrs there so no freeze issues. 👍 Still wish it had stayed with the 65-70 of last week's fame 🤣 Thankful for what's here though -- not the single digits of many!

Goats are munching on the leftovers of hay from last night's feed. Plenty there, waste not girls!!! We need to be frugal here 😂. Chickens are laying well. At least the now grown chicks from my summer buy are. Blue eggs, so pretty obvious -- a few olders are too, 2 greens, 3 browns. Yeah, it's time! This spring I'm adding a few barred rock hens/chicks. Lost
a couple old girls this year. There are at least 5 dairy goats starting to bag. Better get stalls ready & clean up the milk areas....prepare ahead for a change 🙃. @Baymule & I will turn a new leaf 🤣🤣

It's almost SPRING!! 🎉🥰🎉🎉🥳

Well consider my part of East Texas. Warm but with spells of single digits to keep your digits tingly... And some oppressive humidity to remind you why Southerners take it easy. Food is good, people are fantastic. 😊
🤣 I have lived in Galveston (when very young) and in Houston (high school) and actually love humidity... I am actually a 7th generation Texian... but.... the number of people moving to the state made me run off up here to freeze my tush!

I was down there again, for a visit in October... too much growth! :hide

Mornin all. Coffee is ready. Going to have a nice warm day today. It's still a touch wet and a mud hole in the bad spots. I did get the stock trailer out though. Will have to get the flat bed out before the next 1"+ comes this weekend. Bee's have been flying the last few days.

@CLSranch hope this wetness gives you pastures back again👍 so helpful to have graze 😁

Sunshine today!! Glad to know Mr Sun is still there, haven't seen it for a few days. Winds yesterday kept things cool, esp with it being overcast. Today should be real nice. Heavy frost this morn -- all burned off now. Hate that weather is such an impact on our days. We can't control it & it's not always in line with our plans 🤔😜

Coffee is fresh, help yourselves! Something we can control.

Ducks are molting here, I guess Spring is in effect. Pooch moving out to his home today, was too slippery yesterday time I got it done, better get it done before 0900 hrs. Now I can start on a different project, I think getting my pickup truck back on the road is the order of the day after 2 years.

Absolutely no one is interested in having their picture taken. So I went the barn to check on the broody (all’s well) and decided to take a nap in the car (rather than take a healthy and much needed walk). Dang if the dog didn’t out me to Hubbs who was very interested in me starting lunch. I was very interested in his help with the dishes (dishwasher quit, I’m too cheap to have it looked at). Alas the dishes are still waiting for me as Hubbs was badly bitten by a dishrag as a child and won’t go near a full sink where one of the things is liable to be lurking. :barnie

A windy wet and blustery day here. First day of 6 in the next 10 days. So far 1/4 inch of todays prediction of 1.45 in.
Sheep are all cozied up in the barn on fresh shavings. Still waiting on 2 ewes to lamb. Staying inside today (with a few trips to the barn to feed) catching up on putting things away that the clean-up-fairy didn't do. Heck that clean-up-fairy doesn't do anything, think I need a new one
