My answer to that would be human trafficking and the criminals coming across our border. Keep your children close and don’t let them out of your sight in public places.
About a year and a half ago there was an attempted abduction in a town near me -60k not big, not small. There were multiple perpetrators involved, including women and preteens. It was broad daylight at a busy interstate gas station. They simply blocked it off and attempted the grab. The preteens were attempting to coax the intended victims to unlock their car while Mom and others were blockaded inside the store. This was a coordinated team effort. Fortunately good samaritans exercising 2nd amendment rights rolled up and saved the children as the perps scattered, no arrests. There are hardened people roaming our streets looking for opportunities and they will go where those opportunities are.

I’m late…but what’s new? The amazing part is I was up this morning, helped feed, cleaned out rabbit/chicken pen, got 1/2 beef put in the freezer, have a ton of both stew meat and ground beef to can thawing in pantry fridge, got bone broth on the stove, made 2 baguettes of French bread and screwed up some scones before throwing in the towel.
For more years than I can remember, I am always overwhelmed with pain the day after a trip to town.
I’ve also been sleeping! Which is crazy because I usually only sleep every 3rd night due to itching and pain.
I had bought a “grounding” pillowcase for Randy but wound up using it myself. It has to be the reason. It’s made such a huge difference I ordered a sheet to see if it really helps our pain or not

WOW! You rocked it today. Dang I was going to make a Bundt cake and never got to it or the repotting of the African violets or planting seeds. And I don’t even have an excuse! WTG!

Coffee is ready. I slept till 7:03. I’ve been getting up early, out at the crack of dawn to feed so I can go to my friend’s house to do sheetrock. I needed that extra couple of hours.
Wind blew like crazy all night. It’s 40F, cold, windy, and no sunshine. I was going to burn a couple of stumps today, but too windy.

Up and had quiche in oven at 5:20. 🤷 Can't explain it. On about 3rd cup. Prob will want a nap after lunch🤣 chores done at daybreak -- goats in shock.

Chilly, steady light winds. I'd like to get some seed in dirt to get garden plant starts. But, that's pretty messy for inside. 🤔Maybe winds will stop & allow dirt play.

Going to be nice day, sunlight out and 35°F which is warm to us. Checked the eggs in the incubator since it has been a week, we got growth. Here is side by side comparison with egg in incubator and egg getting ready to go in incubator. These are goose eggs.
