I love pound cake! But you give away or you are forced to eat it all....one person, whole cake. . Soon it will be too much milk & eggs. Some sales, some gifts, cheese, butter, etc.

Slept about 4 hr, wake, toss, get up. Still sleepy, turn on TV for whatever is on at 2am. Got dozing, off TV, back to bed. Sleep another 4. Not ideal but, worked.

Raining, as predicted. Superbowl -- I don't watch football. Gonna be a long day. Shocked that anyone would PAY $6500+ for a seat!! What?!? We all have our Achilles heal....

I have a friend that will drop $300 on a purse & $10 on a pair of socks! Anytime we go shopping I'm constantly biting my tongue but thinking Do you have any idea how much hay I could buy just from what you've spent on your socks & underwear?!

neighbor just sent this bobcat pic from one of his game cams. He's walking toward my front pasture of goats!! . Went out and didn't see anything...but!! That's the size of maybe a boxer dog with shorter legs.... He's asking of any losses and offers a hunt for it if so.

That seems to be an awfully long tail for a bobcat! But, yes - LGD's might be in order!

Agree....tail seemed long but they can have them. Plus the stripey color on it, length of body close to 3'. Yep. Barking dogs would keep it at bay.

I will lay odds that is a young cougar. Not a bobcat. Tails on bobcats do not get that long.. 5-7 inches is about max. Cougar tails can be 1/2 the length of their body or more..... and cougars when young can have a more "striped" multi color coat. Some are spotted. Also, it more likely to see a cougar out in daylight even though they are very seldom seen... bobcats are more likely to be seen at dawn and dusk.
Any chance he found some tracks? Bobcats are only about twice a house cat size... cougars will run 3-5 inches across...

No tracks. Of course I wasn't looking for any, didn't know it was there. It's 2 wks ago now. Neighbor is only out weekends, son & fam live in the farm. It's back the drive and to left. This cat is actually about 30-50' from actual paved road, it appears. Lot of woods and deer abound...plus possom, rabbit, etc. It doesn't need my goats!
