Starting the new year right!! Fresh, hot coffee 👍😁🎊

Just gonna go with the flow and let the chips fall where they may this week. I've got 2 weeks at home in front of me with only half day of job work in each. Hardly worth starting the car but, will do. 🥴. Heck, I'm even stacking 2023 to do lists in a pile -- may toss in a fire. Begin fresh!

Happy New year!! 🎉😁🎊❣️👍

Edit more happy 🫤 a learning year (2 prolapse harnesses ordered last week as “just in case” add to first aid and lambing kit). Vet wrap until package gets here. Will check her often and no more grazing hills for this girl at least for now and no those are not her lambs their her buddies).

DD had a New years party last nite. I went over at 8 and left at 10. Nobody was there but she, my SIL and me. Guess they start later than this old lady. Her friends showed up after 10.

Hubs didn't go cus he said I never told him about it. Son didn't go cus he ate a Costco hot dog and a slice of pepperoni pizza and then felt sick later in the day. DUH. I told him he's not 16 yrs old anymore....

I had a nice time talking to them, and helping with a new puzzle.

Well, they DO sell what they consider "basic" and no frills. Even they are costly -- compared to what we in our "prime" feel reasonably priced. Our thoughts are based on times when you could see the parts of an engine. Now, under the hood, it's wall to wall computer chips & controls. 🤷 Plain Jane models are still costly! It's sad, shocking & frustrating.
Here on the ranch we keep all trucks older than 1976. Easier to work on, cheaper to run, last forever. The boss often picks up rollovers, other totalled pickups to rob parts. Computerized vehicles are a nightmare 😳

Haven’t had coffee since Christmas. Haven’t been able to keep anything down, including meds, for a week, which has brought a fun new dimension to the death rattles going around the country. Went to boss’ for Christmas dinner and the whole ranch caught it. (Virus, not food poisoning). Seems only Randy was spared. Still trying to get down a sip of water every 30 minutes to keep from dehydrating. Had some food. So far, so good. 😊

I have apptmt to test drive at 10:30 in morn! Not even the "good but white" one 😂. Almost as bad -- black!! But new on lot, looks real good -- like garage kept? Has tow PKG, older, cheaper $$. My kinda truck! ❣️ Very optimistic. 👍 Used DGD truck this morn to get a load of hay....I do not like being dependant! 🫤. WILL buy something by weekend.

Just like a goat -- I like, you stay. I don't, you leave.😡

Well, think tomorrow will be time to head to somewhere different. Finished day 6 in a row of skiing. Today was a little rough, thought I might fall asleep all morning. Going to go work a big Stock Show, starting this week. Can't wait to be back to some of the barn stuff.
