Originally scheduled to stay home today -- with the nasty weather that insisted on coming thru yesterday & last night, I decided to pick up a couple jobs at a store that had no rep. Got there & store had already done them. . I still had to audit, take pictures, record the product inventory. But, full pay and only 15% of time used. Nice yeah, instead of long day, very short & home to a very wet farm. Can't do most anything out there -- which is why the work. Think I'll can some baked beans. House is chilly and I'll have something constructive to do.

Came home to DS mowing the yard . Too wet! I just came on inside shaking my head and mumbling complimentary words. Really?? Ground is soft!! . WTH¿??

Better get those beans working. Before I verbalize!

@Mini Horses ... did your DS finish the truck the other day when it was nice out?
Yeah, wet here too... but the WIND will blow you away again.... HOLY COW..... it is cold too, only 44 out there. AND possible snow flurries with this cold... west of us in Highland County and into WV counties they are saying a trace to 4 inches of snow....
So glad I am not up in Conn....or further north in VT..... they are getting some really crappy cold and snow....

Cool here, not bad. Breezy & wet! Haven't checked but puddles tell me 1"+ They say 60s & dry next 6 days. Sure hope so!

@Mini Horses i thought you evicted your darling sweet DS. And he’s mowing? Even if it’s wet and it leaves ruts and the wet grass cakes up under the mower deck and requires a jackhammer to shake it loose, it’s the thought that counts. Even if it’s the only thought in his whole life, it counts!

Looking like we'll get rain tomorrow. If it starts early I'll bake some lemon cake/bread/cookies -- use up some of what's on the tree - or lemon curd if I get lazy.
Loving all the lamb reports you all have going. I'm done and almost weaned out. Time to start thinking about letting Rammy back with the girls. Ewe lambs and last July's girls can hang out in their own area. Oh man - that'll change the graze routine. Hmmm.
