Thanks guys. Just glad I'm still able to do. Hope goaties respect it. I bought this fence wire used back in January. Another 800' to get up.Between weather & work, just getting around to replacing some worn out stuff & even re-allocating pastures. I've been cutting, tilling, reseeding. It's a project, or three 😂

I go into the woods ... First pic, I've got all the "white" cut from under trees. Second being tilled to reseed.

@Mini Horses you are my hero. I have a summer fence project and now a barn tear down project and possibly a barn put up project. BUT I don’t do what YOU do all by yourself!

On my first cup of coffee, glimmer of daylight, gotta get outside and feed bottle babies. Then again at 7. Going to meet DD at Waco and get little granddaughters for the week. No projects this week!

I wish where I had to put fence was that flat, almost steep enough for no fence the land terrain would stop anything.
Got a strange request last night from the auction house where I bought the excavator from. Apparently they want to contract me to use my loader to level a concrete slab by lifting it up. I don't think they know what it takes to move this, just to get it to town hired out is around $400 and $400 to get it home and then my time begins with a minimum $750 to run that machine.
Technically that machine drinks 5 gallons a hour in diesel when pushing hard and according to DOT max fuel one can transport from portable containers or those slip tanks you see in the back of trucks is 110 gallons. I'm not driving to town every 2 days I run that machine full throttle. One IBC tote of diesel (265 gallons) somewhat is enough to get a job done.

Yes, flat land to fence is easiest. No hills & mountains here -- gentle slope 😊 at best!. I do things alone because I usually must do so, and things need to be done, not because it's preferred. :old there's just not $ to hire it done :idunno it does keep me in decent physical shape  free gym! ?

So I'm thinking I want to get some amount of garden work going today. Need those CPs up before too much longer....next couple weeks at most. 🤔 And a few more seeds out, for rain benefit. Those rolls of fence are calling to me -- looking at job work for this week, there's that. I've so enjoyed the past week of being at home!!! The daily rains this week -- juggle work -- rather be home.

You guys in TX are looking at triple digits this week 😱. It's only first week of June. Y'all be careful outside! Can't imagine a full summer of that. We're just a touch over our norm here. 👍

Ohhhh that fence 😍
I'd need a bobcat here to get into where I'd need/want fence. No choice but to hire for that. LOL flat we are not ;).
While all of you have been getting drenched and or baked and drenched I've been pretty quiet as our temps have been 50s to low 70s. Well, 'tis about to end - temps this week are heading up 🥵 but not TX hot.
Need to finish up coffee and head over to the barn and get stuff done - sheep, weed whack, maybe trim a few hooves, just regular stuff.

Supposed to start putting rock down today for our road, but looks like we hit a snag or at least the wife did. So I suppose it's a wait and see.
Got all machinery fueled up, greased up and topped off in place and ready to pounce now it's a waiting game. Might end up moving the loader to town instead now to go play and move the excavator to town to finish picking up pieces of a house I flattened. Now which way is the wind blowing today...?

Aaaaaaaarg

Insert a bunch of moaning....

Drove up to Anchorage for my very important once a month shot in the eye...

Drove up yesterday, checked into t the hotel... woke up at 3am to do a jolly cycle of vomiting, diarrhea, shakes, pins and needles, pass out for 30ish minutes then repeat

So... managed to call spouse... spouse extended my hotel stay... had to beg for them to agree to come to the room to exchange the key.....

Spouse also called doordash... a bunch of sick person stuff should be here soon....

And this last barf cycle I only felt like crap, didn't actually barf... did pee a little... and got 1 swallow of water down.

This is the glorious norovirus that landed kid #4 in the ER over a week ago.

It has been over a week... so I thought we were good... stupid me.... never even looked up incubation time for noro....

But look... now I am good enough to both read my phone AND text... so hurrah
