The passage area of the spine where the spinal cord and nerves pass through between vertebrae, where he had the concussion and that area, is a bit narrow... might be some arthritis type stuff also but some damage... but surgeries are dangerous there... so weighing some other options... this dr is very well liked and respected and works on many of the college athletes... I actually talked to my massage therapist and she said if he has the DO on his "shirt" as I was looking at it with other "Initials" and such... then he is a specialist in orthopedic medicine, .... and that since he is doing some of the same things she was doing with me, then he is addressing the "flow" of the energy and spinal fluids and their relation to the nerves etc. I actually feel alot better about what this dr was doing after watching and listening to what he was talking about and the relation of the "facia" to the muscles and such.... how some of the facia will stick to muscles and restrict the movement and therefore the bloodflow and the flow of the fluids that feed the different areas and cushion the joints and such. He has had trouble with numbness in the one leg/foot ever since the accident also...
