Thank you @Ridgetop ! We were just talking about your visit to Arkansas as my friend from California came to visit here. We all had such a wonderful time.

More pictures.....this weather is amazing! The Kentuckians say it is end of August weather, so even better. Rarely out of the 80's! I am not used to regular rain in July either. I may regret it in the winter but we don't have mud here.

The animals look amazing... I like the "arrogant" picture of the black one in the pasture... "Look at me I am important".... sooo nice...
Can you describe something about the different carts you are using??? The chestnut is pulling a different type than the pinto... and forgive me that I forget their names... Not that I ever plan to have any, but because horses were my "first" love from a typical teenage girl, I like to understand that I am looking at and the what's and why's of different things.
Weather here in Va is typical of late July/August... not used to the 90's like this for days on end all through June... and NOT having the typical rain we used to get in June... the drought conditions here have been tough and scary, hay is scarce... but you do what you can and what you have to. Glad you are enjoying the weather there in Ky... there is a reason is it the "Bluegrass state" and that horses are such a big part of the economy there...

Thanks @farmerjan , that is a client stallion I "adopted" since he decided I was his person and is much too challenging to trust with another driver. Very much like Amigo. He is absolutely stunning to watch and has the biggest personality. I finally fell in love with him.

Oh yes, it is truly perfect for horses! Hay is one of the reasons I moved and it has not disappointed! My supplier is less than 10min away and has good sized square bales for $4! I have gotten two flat bed loads so far. He will have round bales for me in the Fall too.

The main difference in the carts is due to the size of the ponies. The two pintos are driving in a regular Ez entry cart. It is a solid training cart, lightweight but sturdy. One is Amigo 34", the other is a 35" mare on consignment who started training before we moved. The bay is my 43" carriage gelding and is driving in a Frey marathon two wheeler. This is a heavier, but extremely durable carriage with curved shafts. Notice they do not come to the point of shoulder to give the horse more of a turning radius. This vehicle is able to be used for training, trail drives, and CDE events. It is used for bigger minis over 36" up to 44"ish ponies. The carriage in the background of the hay picture is a 4 wheel CDE vehicle for mini 4 in hand, small pony pair or single medium pony. Coco will be started in that soon!

It has been another month already but it has been a busy one! Once again hard to choose ten pictures so I will have to do several posts! In mid-July we took our first family vacation since before I started showing horses and it was amazing. Can't wait to go back!

Great vacation ...... WHERE ????? Beautiful pictures...
Thanks! Germany mostly, but also Austria.

Flew into München, then drove to Altötting where we stayed last time. From there we made day trips to the Zugspitze (top of Germany,) Landshut, Chiemsee, Freising, Passau, Burghausen, and stayed one night in Salzburg. We actually ended up staying 10 days, instead of 7 days, because of the global software shutdown. We decided not to wait at the airport all day when they grounded American flights so that was a treat!

Ended up with 1800 miles on the rental car. 😂 And were able to fit in a few organ concerts, museums, castles, palaces, lakes, zoos, farms, and of course, mountains! Absolutely loved it all. Extra special since we haven't traveled partly due to horse shows and out of state moves, but also because of my dad's health. Thanks to something amazing my aunt was introduced to last Christmas, his back, knees, etc. are so much better that we can travel long distance again.

Here are a few more pictures. In the next post I'll include some exciting news on the equine side!
