I having some issues in wardrobe choices, having both a fawn and black&white double coated dogs

I feel like I have failed Fen terribly! 
He wants to be a part of things but is afraid of the dogs out front because they have attacked him too many times, so I have to leave the front door open when he’s watching the world go by so he can run inside and hide from them.
Ever since the roosters attacked him, he has become fearful of the chickens, even though we killed both roosters (not damn soon enough!) so he’s uncomfortable in the back yard.
Inside, Boone has begun trying to resource guard me from Fen, which is resulting in Boone being ignored and removed from the room.
Fen used to be so happy-go-lucky and I’m heartbroken to see his confidence rocked.
I HAVE to find a way to help him back to himself

Try to get him over his fear of the chickens. Catch a hen, take her off the roost at night if you have to and put her in a cage or even a box overnight. Hold her and call Fen to you. Let him sniff, pet him and encourage him. Let her go, don’t let him follow her. Then heap praise on him. He needs a safe place.

I will do that. I want him to have his confidence back.
I have been locking Boone out for some time each day and just spending it engaging with Fen, so he knows he’s still my #1.

I was remembering”Ollie”, a little horse I had as a kid. He was a little 1/2 Arab/Quarter cross and cute as could be. I was on my own at 16, my parents being divorced, mom turned to alcohol and dad had financial trouble. He told me when I was an adult that things were so dire, he felt I was better off on my own. And I was. I had my dog, Moe, and Ollie, and they were my family.
Anyway, Ollie was brilliant. I rode him bareback and bridleless everywhere. We had such adventures!! I loved him and he taught me so much! I wish I had pictures of him. He would carry me anywhere and jump anything for me. We moved to the ranch in Tehachapi and would jump the picnic table, swim across the lake, then fly up through the orchard.
He was my guardian angel.
All my friends from school (the 3 high schools I dropped out of) smoked pot and dropped acid)
I rode. Day and night sometimes. He and Moe saved me.

Boone may need a few sheep. He’s a working dog and he’s making you his flock. One day, he will attack Fen, protecting you. I have an Anatolian like that, Sentry. He adores me and does not like to share. He focuses his hatred on Carson, I have to keep them separated for Carson’s safety.

That’s my greatest fear. I’ve been working hard on it. I also am hoping the man will let me pick up some bummer lambs I found since we don’t have the $ for the sheep I want yet

I haven’t heard back yet from the guy with the bummer lambs. But we have some leppie calves coming tomorrow so Boone will move out with them and Mister and just come in to play with Fen or work on a little training (which takes all of a minute, due to the famous LGD attention span 
) and if the guy comes through with the lambs all the better.
The good news is Boone tends to keep the ranch dogs off of Fen, which is a HUGE blessing. The Maremmas did the same for Cider and then for Heath when they were older. Fen is such a loon, he still wants to sit out front and watch all the other dogs, then run inside, shut the door and watch through the window if they come too close.
If Boone is with him, he’s fearless. He was ticked at me today because I wouldn’t let him sit out front with the door open because it was 29 degrees. He will go out back now and play, even with the chickens loose if Boone is out back.
Fen is old enough to be neutered in April. Unfortunately I have a long wait before Boone is old enough, but God willing, it will change Fen’s over the top interest in all other dogs. Or it may not. At any rate, there are bitches on the ranch so both my boys will be fixed before there is an accident or a battle between them. At least their time will be measured now, with Boone outside the fence.
