Xena invited herself into the bottle lamb pen this morning and doesn’t want to leave.





Garren still isn’t thrilled with the idea, but he’s doing better with his sister hanging out with him.

She has found her place. The lamb bar!

Elsa lambed this morning. A just over 6lb little girl.

She’s a bit homely, but she should look a little prettier once she inflates in a couple days. She’s still kind of flat and squishy.



One ewe left. Nith’s due date is on Friday.

Looks like lambing 2023 will be over today. Nith is currently in labor.

Last lamb of 2023 is a pretty black girl.


Elsa’s baby is still homely, but she’s starting to look a bit less goofy.


My baby is doing so well. She’s doing so much better since Xena joined their little group. Xena readily eats grain so she’s helping the other 2 figure it out.








Just for fun…this is one of my sister’s Katahdin lambs. He was so soundly asleep. I played with his lips for a while and he didn’t notice a thing.

"YOUR" lamb is adorably spoiled and looking great!! Maybe the "homely" one needs a little house time . Will be fine in a couple days. Last one is a pretty  girl...nice.

My BIL came over this afternoon with my niece to see the 2 new babies. I wasn’t in the barn at the time so when he came to the house, he said “who is that really clean white lamb?” The bottle lamb. “Oh! That explains why it was so friendly!”

The twins I've been supplementing, while mom got her milk built up, run right to me when I go in the field. Of course, ONLY for more milk!!
