Monster is a tired kitty. He’s had a busy week. He spent the whole time Midge was here, playing with her. He also got neutered. That didn’t slow him down at all. He was back to normal shenanigans later that day.

Midge left early this morning and Monster has been following me around all day. He does seem genuinely attached to me. I got home from work last night and he was very happy to see me, rubbing on my legs and demanding to be held. He’s currently passed out on my lap. I’m pretty sure I have a house kitty. He sleeps on the bed with the me and the dogs. Don’t tell my allergist! 😬

Midge is a sweet little thing. I think my parents are going to love her. She’s on her way to VT right now.

My friend came down with my sister for a visit and to pick her new puppy. She got an Aussie.

I unexpectedly lost one of my adult Border Leicester ewes yesterday. I’m not sure what happened. My friend (she’s a vet) cut her open and didn’t see anything glaringly obvious, but it’s been so hot that even though she died sometime during the night, she was already decomposing and some of her organs were already mush.

Sorry about the ewe. That’s weird that her insides were already decomposing.

Monster is a happy kitty! Cute puppy pictures!

Not really strange. It’s been 90 degrees for days straight and it’s not cooling down much at night. It was just frustrating that there wasn’t an obvious COD.
