If they are that nice, why sell them? Also, think about the fertility of the ones they are out of.... maybe something else to consider... I am looking hard at the cows that are "backing up" their calving time... and going to cull a few more that are not keeping up or even doing better than they have in the past. Since we are not pulling calves and "trailer weaning" like we used to, calving in 2 groups of 90 day windows is not as important as it used to be... pulling them and weaning and making up uniform groups right now is profitable no matter the timing... I look for the calf/weaned feeder market to hold at least through the spring.... have not followed the lamb market... but I am going to look hard at confirmation on this next group of heifers since we retained so few this past spring...

Costco is like Sam's Club. Big warehouse store.
There is a Sam’s club in Lufkin, close by. I don’t have to fight insane traffic to go there, so I’ll just be happy with Sam’s.
There is a Sam’s in Tyler, plus 2 Aldi’s. So when y’all move, you can make a day trip to Tyler, take coolers.

When we were at COSTCO the other day I got to looking at their cheese selection and decided that I had no idea what to do with a big block of Paneer cheese so of course we got it. :) I have never used it before but I like trying new things so this basically Indian product will get a try here. It is used as a meat replacement so the first thing I did was to try it as fried and I was amazed.
