Bymule is right - for poultry/birds you need to have the tmer on several hours before dawn then let the natural dusk send the birds to roost. Otherwise they get caught off the perches or out of the night nesting areas making them vulnerable to predators.
The vulnerability these guys are having is broad daylight, they don't go out till 0800 hrs when I let them out and put themselves away way before dusk. Ducks go in, guinea fowl then geese.

Got the injection pump and everything back together, went to fire up the excavator, no go. Injection pump was not rebuilt right, get to rip it all back off. Was going to use it to load the livestock shelter, tried the backhoe this morning and it just pised me off to the point it's a ball of metal now. No livestock shelters this auction. Only thing stopping me from shooting all the birds is trying to catch the drone or whatever is tormenting them.

Keep a lid on anger. Calm down, cool off, find something to laugh about.
It’s not the birds fault.

I think I know you well enough now to know you won’t explode out of control. When it comes time to deal with your problems, it will be legal and inside the law.

It was stupid, but it had to be satisfying to crunch up that livestock shelter.

Pigs are still growing, getting their winter coat on looks like, the little boar is being rambunctious now ready to mate as he tries to hump my leg. Still no eggs.

Tried buying a truck from the stealership in next state over, got there and the wife's car lost a wheel bearing 3 blocks before it. Still made the place, but the used truck they brought out was an insult even after telling them before I got there I'm a diesel mechanic.
Seriously, trying to sell me a truck from a Ford stealership with 14 year old tires (never run tires over 8 yrs, 6 years is pushing it). Emissions were deleted, wiring was hacked into and rewired for various BS, axles were worked on when they shouldn't had been for a truck with only 120k miles, shocks were from 14 years ago and the list goes on. I walked.

Wife was happy and chewed me out for attempting to buy a F250 saying she knows better that if I should get a F450 or bigger. Welp one on the way, be here in a week or two.
