Coffee is ready! It is foggy outside and warm, heading towards hot. I’m tired of hot. It won’t cool off until October.

@Blue Sky for YOU it’s a dry heat, for ME it’s a close to the Gulf of Mexico humid soggy heat. I’m dripping sweat standing in the shade, doing nothing.
Speaking of the Gulf of Mexico, I need to get a fishing license and go crabbing. Gee, I haven’t gone crabbing since I was in my twenties! I need to find a partner in crime and go crabbing! Ooooooo, I need a rod and reel too! Sand trout! Croakers, and whatever bites!

Ha! See what you’ve done now? I’ve got SO much to do! Starting on the roof Saturday, picking up shingles Wednesday. Then build a small barn for hay and sheep, build fence….. and somewhere in there, to heck with it all and go crabbing and fishing!!! This is all your fault!

Coffee is ready. I’m going to graze the ewe crew in the yard again this morning. Lots of good grass! Carson and I went to the feed store yesterday, the lady at the counter always gives him a dog biscuit and he gets petted and lots of hugs. He loves going to the feed store. Unloaded, then went shingle shopping, I’ll pick them up tomorrow. Got a Father’s Day special on battery operated tools, been waiting on Fathers day. I’m excited! Got all this for $199! My old Hitachi drill and saw batteries are giving out. They don’t hold a charge anymore, I’ve had them 14 years, time for new stuff!

Ahhh, coffee....and goats are still on my property. What a morning!!! 😁👍 It's a win.

Muddled thru yesterday and my sleep deprivation day😵‍💫....pounded 2 posts, clipped some fence to posts, little weed eat work, chores and some cooking, couple loads in dishwasher, from unpacking boxes.....but, slept well last night!!!

So, just checked my work portal as I knew I scheduled a few things for today -- wham! They had dumped stuff on yesterday 😳 for a store not even assigned me.😞🤔 Now I need to work that in. Obviously didn't see yesterday 😁 didn't look. It's near tractor place, I'll get that fitting I need....that's a plus.

Overcast, cool, rain to arrive 2ish...and stay all day tomorrow. Good!!!! Maybe 1.5-2" that is really needed. Means I'll be working wallet jobs tomorrow  it can stay Thur, too.

Pleasant weather here for past couple days. Mid 70's heading up to 80. Dropping to mid 60's at night. Keeping windows open for fresh air. Just finished first cu0 of coffee. Will have one more before heading out to try varnishing the desks again. Then off to Ross IF I find my list. :hu I make lists and sometimes lose them. Very annoying.

My previous Service Dog (The Happy Heathen) always worked without a leash as my hands were too painful and he was 100% solid. We would go to the bank and the tellers would give him snackies. But he got to where he was rushing and being pushy and I would have to grab the handle on his vest. I told the teller he couldn’t have any although he was allowed to stand up to say hello (small town, everyone knew and loved him). He stood at the window for a couple minutes and when nothing was forthcoming, he took himself to the next window 😂

I got up to make breakfast for TheMan. He loves 7up biscuits so I melted the butter and was short on Bisquick. I looked everywhere for the box I know we bought but couldn’t find it. There was a box called Carbquick from doing Keto so I had to substitute the last cup and a half.
Carbquick isn’t Bisquick and the biscuits never rose. The sausage never thawed out, so all he got was flat biscuits, fried eggs and cheese. He said the biscuits were not good.

Fen begs to differ…

Easy 7-Up Biscuits

Breakfasts
Prep Time: 20 mins | Cook Time: 10 mins | Servings: 12

Ingredients:
½ cup butter
4 ½ cups baking mix (such as Bisquick ®)
1 cup lemon-lime soda (such as 7-Up®)
1 cup sour cream

Directions:
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C). Put butter in a 9x13-inch baking dish and place dish in the preheating oven until butter is melted.
Mix baking mix, lemon-lime soda, and sour cream together in a bowl until dough holds together and is sticky. Turn dough onto a floured work surface and roll into 1-inch thick circle. Cut circles out of dough using a cookie cutter or the rim of a wine glass and place in the melted butter.
Bake in the preheated oven until biscuits are golden brown, 10 to 12 minutes. Remove dish from oven and let stand until biscuits have absorbed all the butter.

Notes:
You can use as little as 4 cups Bisquick(R), but I found it too hard to work with the dough when it was that sticky.

You aren’t wrong. It was extremely hard for me to go from Heath to Fen, especially as Heath and I had a bond like none I have ever experienced before. He really was perfect from the day we brought him home @ 8 weeks. At 12 weeks he was already picking his toys up and putting them in a basket. He never made a wrong move. And my grief at the sudden, senseless loss was overwhelming. I still cry over him. But Fen is Fen. And between all the cussing him out and raising our voices in protest we have both come to love him and appreciate his antics. ❤️
