Sometimes you just need a good laugh and Fen provides plenty of laughs!

I copied the 7- up biscuits recipe, thanks! Try the beer biscuits, I used to make them for teenagers when my kids were still at home. I’d make a cookie sheet full, pull them out of the oven, set out butter and jam and watch them disappear. Then I’d make another batch.

Coffee is ready! Going to wean a couple of ram lambs this morning and catch up on tagging.

Lost a day. Can’t even remember yesterday as pain flare knocked me down and I didn’t wake up again until Fen insisted on me feeding him breakfast too early this morning. I need to drag my carcass out to feed rabbits and water the garden. If I ever needed coffee, it’s now

Huge souvenir travel mug from Universal of iced coffee this AM.
The power blinked out at work yesterday around 9AM. I got to educate my coworker on the 'fire drill' of scrambling to get a generator brought to the scale, drag in 2 long heavy duty extension cords & figure out how to link enough surge protectors together to be able to hook up 14 pieces of vital equipment plus a fan. The AC has one of those funky plugs with one of the prongs sideways (like a small version of a dryer plug) so can't be hooked up. It got to 86 in the building. Sooooo stuffy, sweat just running. Power still out when I left yesterday afternoon, so I came in 30mins early today. Needed the extra time to either (1) disconnect everything from the jacked-up extension cords & plug back into the wall or (2) start the generator back up and wait for everything to boot up from scratch.
Just in case the power was still out, I wasn't taking the chance that I wouldn't be able to make coffee!!
Power was on and AC has been RUNNING today 🥶.

I send an Irish coffee your way. A little late now, but sending anyway.

 Made me laugh. I usually have mine before work and a to go cup for later. I do hate those mornings when I'm still in transit and no 110 power in the camper. Therefore no coffee or truckstop.

I used to have a coffee mug that plugged into the lighter socket. Warmed up the coffee. Now, a mug that keeps hot or cold long time, no plug in. Doesn't help but so long, several hours.

Worked most of day, home having hot tea while heating milk to make another batch of cheese. Fresh cream for my tea. 🥰 A small pleasure of my home dairy....and the cheese! Big savings on that. It's almost a daily "must do" when milking several a day. Frig gets toooo full otherwise.

I'll need to get out for chores between bands of rain. NOT complaining, I'm sure glad for this rain!! Goats, not so much! 🤣 They're not too water friendly.

Sipping ice coffee, 77 high today (I see you all laughing) pretty hot for me - we haven't had the gradual warm up. Thinking of all of you out there where it's hotter than ______________ -- yeah - just the first day of summer. Here we go.
