And we had a tractor trailer go over the side of Chesapeake Bay bridge tunnel a couple hours ago! So far, no driver found...no time to assemble needed equipment to find and retrieve rig.

It's been a disastrous week in many places.

Yes, tornado was in Matador, Texas. 70 miles northeast of Lubbock. My sister in Seattle called to see if Yantis was near Matador because of the tornado.

I used to have a coffee mug that plugged into the lighter socket. Warmed up the coffee. Now, a mug that keeps hot or cold long time, no plug in. Doesn't help but so long, several hours.

I often bring 2 "to go" cups of coffee to work. I fill both up at 6ish and drink one cheapo whatever brand during the 7 o' clock, morning meeting and I have 1 Bubba coffee or 1 Thermos brand mug that you can't drink at 8 and is still hot at 9, or later. Like an ice chest, I like insulation to work. The Thermos cup I can lose in the floor board and it will not leak.

This morning I'm feeling thankful to be home and safe! We're still getting rain...mixed with sun, now and then. They show storms from TX&FL coming north along all our coastal states for the next several days, bringing more rain. Hopefully it will ward off dead pastures and crops for a while. I swear the corn field next door has gone from 1 to 4 foot tall this week!!!!

Coffee, yes! Thankful for that, too.

Need to go check on my broody hen. One chick yesterday, that I put back into nest, so mom hopped back on other 3 eggs to finish the job! hope all get pipped. A single chick is
