This afternoon -- rain, from a front. Not a lot, maybe 1/4-1/2". Still going on Idalia will stay primarily in NC but, I'm close to border, so expect some light winds and possibly light, scattered rain tomorrow. Maybe 1/2" more. We're wet enough.

Saw a convoy of our local power co trucks heading south Monday morning. Probably SC or FL assists.

One of the guys in the online game group is one of those "drive everywhere to restore power" guys. I sometimes wonder if he would recognize his own house if he drove by it, always seems to be posting "going to xxxx to work on power restoration".

Idalia ravaged FL, soaked GA & SC, now messing up NC and rained on us here in VA. All night rain but, not much more as far as winds, etc. So, anyone in those areas you need to check on?
