GOOD MORNING ALL! Happy Thursday!!! I so wish FH would make up his mind what time he wanted up seeing how he told me last night 6AM so I gave him a few minutes then went to get him and he tells me 7AM. Sure I could start on the house work but I would be making noise and that would wake him so he would be a miserable old bear.
Last night it was so beautiful I grilled chicken leg quarters and umm let's just say I caught the grill on fire but I was able to put it out myself without yelling to him for assistance unlike when he catches the grill on fire he yells to me to help him. I tell ya that man couldn't and wouldn't be able to do anything on his own if I wasn't here.
Drinking my 2nd cup of coffee for the day.

Contemplating -- no sheep, no clones, no hunting for horns. 🤔 Am I missing out? 🙄🫤 Then a dino? I don't need more fence destroyers -- I have goats!! 😋🤐

That resolved, the weather here is fantastic! 😍 Plus the thoughts of rain Fri/Sat has been dropped. 👍 Things drying up. I'm thinking I will actually be able to till the garden soon!! 🥰 And work fencing -- piles of fence/posts waiting. Grasses growing.

Life looking good.

Somehow I get to manage to unload 7120 lbs of corn this morning in IBC totes without using forks and my excavator is over mile away, life as it is I suppose. Got a business meeting this morning going to give a quote. I normally give free advice, but if I see someone else is going to get hired for the work I'm going to inform the customer that consultation fees apply. "If you are good at something, never do it for free" and I know I am good at what I do.

Wow good job. I duck ducked and googled and couldn’t come up with a pic. LOL I even tried to find a website for the guys ranch and nada.
This isn’t what the Montana guy was raising. A few years ago I saw this breed and thought novelty sells. It’s a Racka sheep from the Transylvania region (is anything normal in that part of the world?). Racka are considered national treasures and not exported. Some semen is available but impregnation is difficult and results poor. Edit- I wonder if they baaa “Goot Eveningk”.

There is a town in Louisiana called Transylvania and their football mascot is a bat. Big black bat painted on water tower. I was there 38 years ago for great aunts estate sale, had a low tire and went to Transylvania to get it fixed. Bought a sweatshirt with Transylvania Louisiana and a bat on it. Love that sweatshirt and still have it.

Mouflon, a wild sheep raised and crossed with domestics, have impressive horns but I suspect they and other wild species don’t think much of LGDs. And think of the fencing :barnie
We alll want some income but for myself let the wild ones be themselves.
