Last night was noisy and the power went off around 2:00 but for only a short while. The rain gauge shows we got a little over 3 inches of rain.

We are getting some sprinkles, showers from the front coming this way... moving out by the looks of the radar... won't be much in the rain gauge...

I got a half inch of rain here, it didn’t hang around long.

We got all of 1/10th inch today... shower, sprinkles, and was done and sun trying to come out by 5 or so....

We only got enough misting today to keep these fragile sheep inside the shelters. Even the bottle lamb and the young ram lamb finally had enough smarts to get out of the weather. It only took two days of Animal Cracker pieces to tame the ram lamb and he is completely tame now. I probably shouldn't have listened but he told me his name is Jack so I'm not sure what his future will be.

So far looks like we got half an inch from the unforcast thunderstorm - now that’s it’s happened they are forecasting rain

Are you going to get to keep Oshi for another breeding season? If not, “Jack” could step up and take his place….. might be a lot of Oshi genetics but that’s not bad either.

Jack can't be registered. I plan on keeping Oshi for one more breeding season so we are good there.

We have a couple coming in a few weeks that wants a mini herd (3 ewes and a ram) so that should be where Jack fits right in, He is getting used to being handled and that should keep on like all of the others we have had. The rams are adaptable if you keep at it. Even Oshi hasn't shown any "ram" behavior in several months.
