There's a swap meet coming up in a couple weeks.

Found out yesterday that my unemployment claim was actially denied.
Drove to the VEC to file an appeal... nobody there but the guy answering (not answering!) the phones, so filled out the forms to request an appeal.
Should hear back in a couple weeks.
Had a good interview yesterday to be 911.
Have a phone interview tomorrow for vet assistant.
Sold the old, dead pickup - yeah! They should be here tomorrow AM with a check & a rollback.

This is a whole new kinda hard.

You have real talent. Can’t believe you have kept it from us all these years!
Can you paint animals? Farm animals would be good sellers, maybe with a catchy phrase on the bottom of the picture.

I don't know.
At least.. I don't know if I can watercolor them. My sister is printing out some picts of my cats, Birdie, & Eva so I can attempt some pet portraits.

If oils & canvases weren't so ridiculously expensive, I'd try to go that route. I did a lot of that waaaaaayyyy back in school. This was my senior project - life size portrait of my pony Cinnamon, his buddy Denmark & my old beagle mix Barney.

With a little practice, I think you would do well. It doesn’t have to be perfect colors like different breeds. I’m thinking something abstract in which the outline is unmistakable but the colors add interest.

I saw this on FB, thought of you and took a screenshot. You could do something like this with your watercolors. Like putting purple in the mountains painting.

I’ve seen paintings hanging in Veternarian offices that is a cat, dog or other animal, in colors that would never occur in nature. And they look so good!

I actually LOVE that abstract, colorful style!! And since everyone (except Birdie) that I have to practice on is black or black & white, I was planning on trying it out. 👍
