4 AM power is off. A storm came through last night and knocked the power out. I should go back to sleep but I’m wide awake. Maybe.

Ugh! You got it. We're just windy. The really bad stuff stayed north of us. Hope your power is back on soon!

Someone just said 'Happy Friday' to me and I was like 'ha ha, yeah right'. I swear, I thought it was Thursday!
It's FRIDAY !

Left my breakfast sitting on the counter at home.... that will be chicken treats this evening. BUT, still had 1 of my spicy soy-sauce eggs left in the fridge at work, so breakfast is back on!
The day is looking up!

Power came on this morning, I did outside chores and went to town. Tractor supply, Hyundai dealership. Service guy fiddled with light, it was stuck. It’s off now! All fixed. Walmart, home.

Today got better. The Boer doe I had stalled was let out this morning as I felt she was still waiting --
Tonight she went into the other stall I'd bedded and had twin doelings one large, one small but lovely and both had nursed. They were clean and dry...mom attentive and had doubled bag size since morning. Just came in. Closed stall, added water, feed, hay. Other stall rework some and ready for her buddy to kid!! Do it. Do it. . These are reg stock. So morning will be fun. First kids from this young buck. I'm a fan, doelings!!

Coffee is ready. I’m going to a friend’s house today and dig up a couple of crepe myrtles. She said they are a pink color. Chris is coming over to put a thermostat in the mule and fix the flat.

@Baymule Yeah, the meat side of goats is a little different and it's been a plan for a while now. So far, so good. You know how it is with livestock -- hope for the best. Kinda like your plans.

The winds are still here and vicious. Glad it's warm! Should dry things up -- fast! It's howling out there.

Hot coffee and day begins. Plans changed to just cope.
