Sloppy here too with temperatures hitting 55°F which is way above normal melting snow so the clay is goop till it dries out. First few hours in the morning if you need to move anything better get moving, with hilly terrain and such everything slides. Slides with frozen ground and slides with goop, just learn to live with it. Last winter I slid the loader 200' sideways, hang on and enjoy the ride till it caught a tree, all 60k lbs took that tree out. Anywho I digress, finish the pup house today, lovely weather...

Ok. I’m the guilty one who used to gather eggs in the pocket of my sweatshirt, until I leaned over a fence and smashed them all (ps-don’t wash your sweatshirt in hot water)
So I quit wearing sweatshirts but yesterday I needed to carry water in both hands…so I tucked it away…

I was putting on my jammies, when I pulled my sports bra over my head, I heard a splat on the tile floor of the bathroom…

Beautiful morning, hard frost though. So BIL calls about husky. Dog is staying at his home and in conflict with his household, because of unknown incident at niece’s apartment. BIL can control dog but niece cannot. I told him to find a Husky Rescue and lay down the law to niece- no dogs until she is paying her own way in the world. I was nice about it but told him he would have nothing but escalating trouble and expense. Lord forbid the dog bites niece while she’s trying to crate it for its daily umpteen hour incarceration. BIL thinks returning the dog to niece will teach her a lesson and that surrendering the dog will be too expensive. This snowball is gonna roll downhill…

Poor dog!! He's just being a husky ... Niece untrained. That's a breed that is often in need of rescue because people buy this beautiful pup with NO idea of temperament, needs, training and activity level. They are strong, high activity and opinionated. Poor dog. It's very sad.

Oh my goodness! Been there, done that. But, even worse - don't leave one in your coat pocket for a season! Coat had been hanging in a locker in the garage since I put it away in the spring. Got it out at first cold snap and thankfully felt the egg in the pocket before I bumped anything. I very carefully peeled that coat off and even more carefully dislodged the egg from the pocket and threw it as far as I could. Yep - it was a stinker and I got really lucky, lol.
