With enough pigs at weaning time that 165 mile trip to the auction yard may be worthwhile. I say weaning time because you have to figure what you put into the piglets in feed costs vs what you would put into them to rase them larger to decide if you want to sell weanlings, or larger pigs.

You are very talented with equipment. People do not realize the time, and MUSCLE required to do that sort of stuff, even using jacks and things to lift and all... it still takes muscle and time to do all that sort of taking apart and then putting back together.... And then they just b$#@h and complain about the cost of things... when this sort of stuff is what those "exorbitant" prices have to help pay for when it happens, plus the down time, which means no income.
My dad did lake dredging with a Bucyrus Erie dragline in Conn., when I was a kid growing up... he was a master with the machine. Did most all his work on it too except for the real heavy stuff... Used to go with him to jobs he was working on, when he did maintenance on it on the weekends and such.
